I adore cottages. Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to live in a quaint little cottage. Maybe it has something to do with growing up spending so much time at my grandparents house, which was a log cabin my grandfather built from the trees on the land. It definitely had a cottage feel to it. :)
Here is a collection of some cottages that I have seen on the internet and always wanted to have, if only for a weekend rental!! Amazing, charming places that are right out of a fairy tale!
This one looks so peaceful!!!
Love the round idea!!
Aaaaw!!! Enclosed in herbs and flowers. Sensational.
A whole collection of little beauties.
Check out this room out of a cottage.... would love to sit there and write looking out at the view.

!WaCkY WeDnEsDaY!~ From the Trash to The Wall
When I saw the picture for todays project, I immediately thought of my friend, Deb. She will probably be thinking "WHY?", but I always think of her when I see something that is this weird type of vintage, crafty, off-the-wall thing going on. lol!!! I better duck real quick!
I am head over heels for these roses. Look at them!!! So pretty and yummy looking... they remind me of neopolitan ice cream, hehehe!
Aren't they amazing???? And to think they are made from something we toss in our recycling bin daily.... NEWSPAPER!! Yep, plain newspaper, glue, paint, and your trusty fingers will get you your very own bouquet of these amazing beauties!!
Todays project was posted by Michelle on her blog, Michelle Made Me. She did an awesome job of posting step-by-step instructions, (with pictures!!), for each of us to follow along and try our hand at making these. Got to give her a big Shout Out for this one! :)
So head on over to her place and read all the details. Hope everyone at leasts makes one to see how easy they really are. Have fun and happy crafting!!

Off Schedule ~Easy Shelves For $7~
I seem to be a little off schedule this week... I'm sure I am the only one worried about it though. I have been having a heck of a time finding just one thing I want to post about. I decided I would share a tutorial I saw a while back and had saved to do in my "Someday". I thought this was just so clever and even have the concrete form for mine. Now to find a local Habitat Restore Store to pick up the shutters. Here is a picture of these Oh-So-Easy-Shelves from Michelle over at Girl In Air. You should check out her blog and all of the awesome things she has shared, very creative!!

~Friday Faves~ Why Didn't I think of That?!?!
I have these moments when I see something and the next thing I know, I am kicking myself in the shins, screaming, "Why didn't I think of that?" It's when I see something that would make life so much easier and, I usually discover, is made from something I have lying around the house unused. Some people just have a knack for looking at something and seeing the possibilities it has of becoming something useful, unfortunately, 9 times out of 10, I am NOT one of those people.
Here are some of my very fave items I wish I could take credit for making...
This first one is a "no-brainer" and I have lived 48 years with never thinking of it. All those hours I spent untangling necklaces could have been put to better use, lol!! This is made from drawer organizers but it is also so cute made out of old drawers from kitchen re-do's.
Do I feel dumb when I look at this one. I have needed something cute and easy for my dd jewelry. DUH! How easy is this!!
I probably have one of the smallest kitchens in the city, wouldn't this make a difference in my cupboard space!! Gotta pick one up at Home Depot next trip.
My son has been needing a bed for the longest time now. I even have 2 pallets sitting next to my shed that I grabbed from the plumbing place down the alley :just in case" I needed them. Now I have a new project for this weekend and I can't wait to post it later on. Why didn't I think of this?? Heeheeehee!!
Besides having the smallest kitchen, I have an equally tiny bathroom. One towel rack for 3 people just doesn't cut it. I hang our robes on over-the-door hangers so what to do with the towels??? HELLO!!!~Hangers~
~Wine Rack~
This one is just for fun and something I am actually going to make this Holiday season. I have a handful of people to give gifts to that will get such a kick out of this!! How about attaching a tag that says something like, "I need S'more friends like you! Happy Holidays!"??? They even sell the little clear containers at Dollar Tree.
That's it for today. Hope you have a sensational weekend and Happy Crafting!

~Checking In~
I just wanted to check in and wish you all a wonderful day. Hope some of you are finding yourself being crafty.... Please try and post if you have done any of the Challenges or fun crafts I have posted. Would love to see your work.
While doing my blog surfing I found the neatest clock I am going to give a try. It is going to be a lot larger than the clocks I am used to, but I fell in love with it. Here's a Sneak Preview for you....
Isn't it AMAZING>!?!?!?! I hope mine turs out even half as cool. :) This baby costs something like $400 from Umbra. I think NOT!!!

~VERY MANIC MONDAY~
Where did the weekend go? It took our warm, sunny weather with it, and I want it back!! More rain was not my idea of a great beginning to the week. *sigh*
I have a few shares for you today that are a bit different. I'm sure all of us have been in the position where we need a quick gift and our stash of goodies has nothing for the occasion. It has happened to me every time my kids get invited to birthday parties this past year. So tacky to be the mom who always sends gift cards. LOL
I've posted some links to a few of my favorite ideas to craft up for a quick gift. I am in the process of making the baby gift for my daughter's expecting friend. Love, love this easy peasy cutie!!
*Baby Shower Creations*
*Great Idea For A Birthday Gift*
*Hair Bow Tute for a great gift for little girls*
I am Head Over Heels for these fabric flowers and have to give this *Bag* a try... what an easy gift these would make!!
